It’s time to fire up the DeLorean: Telltale Games’ trademark take on the iconic Back to the Future film franchise looks set to land on current gen consoles later this year.
A number of listings posted by gaming rental service GameFly, who presumably had their own time machine’s settings configured incorrectly, seem to confirm that the episodic adventure game – originally released in 2010 – will make its way onto PS4 and Xbox One on October 13. The irrepressible characters of Marty McFly and Doc Brown from the film series make their return in the title, which won generally positive reviews first time around for its authentic story and challenging puzzle elements.
The release is being touted as a ’30th anniversary edition’ special, and coincides with the release of a Bluray boxset containing the original trilogy and a host of extras, so hopefully gamers will be provided with a few extra goodies as well.
