Today at PSX, it was announced that the (much?) anticipated PS4 port of the Steam version of Final Fantasy VII will be available today. The port is nearly identical to the original PS1 release from 1997, with updated character models and trophy support. The trophy list was discovered online last week, prompting speculation that release for the port was imminent. For a nice little surprise, the download also comes with a Midgar theme for your PS4
Also, a new trailer for the remake of Final Fantasy VII debuted today, teasing scenes from the infamous opening bombing mission of the game, and showing off a small portion of the new battle system.
