Pokken Tournament: Mewtwo, Garchomp, Braixen Revealed

The latest issue of CoroCoro has confirmed not one, but three new contenders for Pokken Tournament. A standard Mewtwo, long-distance fighter Braixen, and powerhouse Garchomp will all be playable in the upcoming Wii U title. In the screenshots, Garchomp can be seen to Mega Evolve, which will likely be its Burst Mode attack.

Garchomp can use Dragon Rush and Sand Tomb. Braixen is able to use Fire Blast.

There are no screenshots of Mewtwo’s attacks, possibly intentional so as to keep it a secret. This makes Mewtwo the second fighter to appear in two forms, following Pikachu and Pikachu Libre. Pokken Tournament is expected to release on Wii U in North America and Europe in the second quarter of this year.
