Prey Will Feature Zero G Gameplay and Acquired Powers

In Bethesda’s post show, Arkane’s Creative Director Raphael Colantonio revealed details about the return of Prey.

Set in a bar in a space station called the Yellow Tulip, Colantonio explains that Prey “isn’t a mission based game like Dishonored”, but rather a game where the player can roam freely, including exiting the space station in Zero G, and floating to other branches of the station.

He adds the the hostile aliens seen in the announcement trailer have different behaviors such as hiding and mimicking things. Most interestingly, he confirmed that the player can absorb powers from this alien species, which was briefly eluded to in the trailer.

Further details on the new Prey will be revealed at this year’s Quake-con.
