Independent developer TreeFortress Games has confirmed that its intense futuristic take on Pong, HoloBall, is coming to PlayStation VR next week.

A room-scale virtual reality take on the seminal sports title, HoloBall places players into an arcade arena in which they must use their paddles to hit, smash and curve the ball past their opponents to score.

According to its developer, the title will also include PS4 Pro support at launch via a day-one patch. On Reddit, a spokesman for the studio said: “We’re uploading a Day 1 patch now that will give you roughly 50% super sample on the Pro. Everything is nice and super crisp.”

The game was originally released for the HTC Vive via Steam back in April, and currently holds a consensus of “very positive” reviews on the service’s online storefront.

HoloBall is scheduled to release for PSVR on November 22, and will be priced at $14.99. An online multiplayer element and Japanese localisation are both in the works, and should be available in early 2017.
