HTC’s critically acclaimed virtual reality headset, the Vive, is set to receive a substantial discount this Black Friday.
In a press release, the technology company confirmed the Vive will be discounted by $100 “wherever Vive is sold in the United States” on both Black Friday (November 25) and Monday (November 28).
Dan O’Brien, VP of virtual reality at Vive, said:
“This is our first holiday with true virtual reality at a massive consumer level, and we want everyone to get into a Vive and experience the promise of virtual reality.
“Vive is the most complete virtual reality system. Everything you need to have the best VR experience is in a single box: the Vive headset, two motion controllers, and two base stations for 360 degree room-scale tracking.”
