Fumito Ueda and SIE Japan Studio’s The Last Guardian will receive two day-one patches, it has today been confirmed.
Users who received their copy of the game ahead of its official release date of December 6 had earlier reported that title update 1.01 had been made available, clocking in at just over 1GB in size. Whilst the full notes for the update have not yet been posted online, numerous users have reported that camera and responsiveness issues have been alleviated by the patch, as well as frame rate problems being less common.
This evening, a second day-one patch has been made available. Title update 1.02 weighs in at a considerably smaller 174.2MB, and, according to its update history, provides “minor improvements and bug fixes”.
