Dead Rising 4 Infecting Steam on March 14

Those who would like to go on a zombie-slaying adventure with Frank West without a trip to the Windows Store will be happy to know that Dead Rising 4 is infecting Steam worldwide, along with European retail stores, on March 14.

The Steam version is already available for pre-ordering at a delicious 20 percent discount, and includes the X-Fists Exo Suit Weapon. Following its initial release, the game will sell for £39.99 / €59.99.

While a good chunk of fans seem to have enjoyed their time with the zombie fest, judging from reviews, a recent investor Q&A revealed some less enthused reactions to the lack of “more distinguishing” reviews.

For their part, Capcom attributes this to the game being “made more approachable in order to in order to allow a wider audience to enjoy it.” In response, the publisher promises to promote the game through additional downloadable content going forward.
