There is a lot of hype around Cyberpunk 2077 and it has been a while since we got to see some new gameplay footage or even a trailer but CDPR does talk about the game from time to time and now the developer has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will feature female companions as well.
In the demo of the game, we saw how the world would be through the eyes of a female protagonist, V. We also know that we can choose to go with a male character. Jackie is one of the male companions in the game. Fans asked if whether or not they would get a female version of Jackie if they chose to go with a male character instead.
CDPR confirmed that Jackie is one of the multiple companions in Cyberpunk 2077 and while players will not get a female version of Jackie if they choose to go with a male character, there are plenty of female companions that you will meet in Cyberpunk 2077. The following is what the developer had to say in this regard:
Jackie is one of companions that will just tag along during some missions. And he is just one of the few. To answer your question- there won’t be female version of Jackie, but for sure there will be female companions that will show up during your playthrough.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive game and from what we have seen for far, it will be the new benchmark for RPG games. We are not sure when the game is going to release but it is speculated that Cyberpunk 2077 will release this year. Stay tuned for more information and news regarding the game.
