Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a fantastic game. It’s got a lot going on, and everything has been refined so that it’s not too overwhelming for new players to the series. One thing that’s missing from the game at the moment is Transmog. This is something that was added to the last game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey after it launched. It was a fan-requested feature, and as soon as it arrived, players went absolutely mental for it. At the moment, Ubisoft has said that they’re planning to bring this feature to the game, but there’s no date as of yet. Regardless, I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
As reported by Game Rant, this feature has been barely mentioned by Ubisoft. That’s why one player reached out to Ubisoft Support to figure out when it was coming. The company responded by saying that they’re aware of the need for this feature, and they’re going to get it to us in the future. Unfortunately, they can’t confirm when it’s going to arrive.
Transmog, for those who don’t know, is a feature that allows you to change the appearance of your gear and armour without losing the stats attached to it. So if you like the Yule Festival armour set, which I’ve spent a lot of time and effort picking up, then you can keep its stats, but change the look of it to that of the Berserker set. If that doesn’t take your fancy though, you could change every piece’s appearance individually until you’re happy with the creation you’ve made.
This feature is more commonly found in MMOs and online games. However, the most recent Assassin’s Creed game is also perfect for it. The world is filled with armour that you can spend hours tracking down. All that effort adds an intrinsic value to every piece, but you might not necessarily love the perks attached to it. That’s why Transmog is so handy. It gives you the freedom to change the look of Eivor even more than you can already, making for one of the best-looking Assassins in the franchise’s history.
