Fortnite is a highly popular multiplayer title by Epic Games. It has a battle royale format and, in the classic mode, challenges the player to outlast everyone else. What is the current season in Fortnite?
Chapter 4, season 4 is the current ongoing season in Fortnite. It launched on 25th August 2023. This update added 8 new battle pass skins and 3 new weapons. Alongside all this, three new points of interest were also added to the map. They are Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat and Eclipsed Estate.
So, when is the next Fortnite season?
The next Fortnite season is due to launch at towards the start of November 2023. A typical season in Fortnite lasts for 10 to 12 weeks. Whether the next season forms part of a new chapter, or whether it will be chapter 4, season 5 still remains to be seen. Regardless, we can definitely expect a major new update to Fortnite before the end of the year.
Like usual, there should also be an end-of-season event put together by Epic games before the launch of the next one. It should also be around that time that the first leaks over chapter 4, season 5 start to emerge.
Until then however, we will have to sit tight and await further announcement. We should have more concrete details by the end of October.
