How to Play Heardle 70s

As stated above, the main aim of the game is to guess the correct song. You are played a short extract of a random track from the 1970’s. You have 6 turns in order to guess it correctly, otherwise you lose the game. With every new turn, a new snippet of the song is unlocked. You have the option to search for the name and the artist in a search box below. Once all the snippets are unlocked, it is up to you to make an educated guess.

To increase your chance of winning, the only sure-fire way is to listen to more 70s music. The more tracks you know, the easier it is to recognise whatever you hear.

When playing the game, be sure to take your time and play the snippet multiple times. Like this, you will have the best chance of recalling a song that may be at the back of your mind. Lastly, make use of the search box. Use it to search for possible matching artists. Try to think whether any artists you have in mind would make the genre of music you are hearing.
