This news was part of a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the company. Of course, the news of the next GTA game ignited the internet and generated a whole lot of hype on social media.

The buzz around the announcement is astonishing, to say the least. Users have signalled the hype around the tweet announcing the latest trailer without hesitation and it has already broken several records. The tweet has become Trending #1 in several countries around the world and has over 1.1 million likes, garnering over 80 million views in less than 6 hours on X alone.

Many users were celebrating the announcement of a new trailer in the acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series, which hasn’t seen a new installment in a long time. Some users were quick to make some funny memes about how much time has passed since the last announcement.

Following the announcement of the trailer, the speculation bubble continued to swell.
