Fortnite Age Rating Explained

In the US, the ESRB has given Fortnite an age rating of Teen. This means that 13 years or older can play the game. The rating is in place due to the use of guns, swords, and violence in general.

There are several reasons why your kid is so interested in playing Fortnite. It is free-to-play and has different modes including a battle royale mode and racing mode. It also allows for world-building. Furthermore, kids can play with friends in duos, trios, and teams. Popular gamers play Fortnite on sites such as YouTube and Twitch.
The cartoonish bloodless style of the action in Fortnite makes it less violent than other shooting games. So many parents allow their kids to play the game. It is possible that your kid’s friends are playing Fortnite and would like him/her to join in the fun.
