There are many fantastic Pals to breed, such as Jormuntide, in Palworld. That name may sound familiar to Jörmungandr and being a water-dragon, but that’s because it is. Players of the monster-taming, survival title get to explore a massive, growing map with various Pals to meet. Jormuntide is just one of these adorable creatures, and you can create unique versions of it by breeding. However, the process may sound straightforward, but it isn’t. Breeding Pals in Palworld comes with benefits, as the created creature will share the traits and even some stats of the paired Pals.

We aim to help you with how to breed Jormuntide in Palworld. This way, you can create better versions of the creature. In turn, you can add one to your roster that performs much better and is more useful. Whether in combat or crafting. However, if you wish to try and just catch a Jormuntide flat out, we also provide the details on where to find them.

How to Breed Jormuntide in Palworld

Players need to combine different, specific Pals in a Breeding Farm and then incubate the egg. Once this is done, a Jormuntide will be born. More specifically, you need to ensure that you are level 19 and have two technology points to unlock the Breeding Farm. Next, you need to have x100 Wood, x20 Stone, and x50 Fiber to construct it. Once done, you are going to need a male and female Pal to use in the breeding. Take both of them and assign them to your base, and place them in the Breeding Farm. Lastly, ensure that a Cake is made and is near the farm, as this helps with the process. At the end of the breeding, an egg will be created. Place this in an incubator to hatch the Pal.

However, you cannot take just any Pals to breed and create a Jormuntide. It must be a specific pairing of creatures. Don’t worry, though, as we help by showing which exact pairs you need to match up.

Jormuntide Breeding Compatibility Pairs in Palworld

Players need to take certain Pals to their base and place them in the Breeding Farm to create an egg housing Jormuntide. There is a wide range of Pals in the roster. However, the following are the only ones that you need to find and bring back to create for the breeding process:

  • Cinnamoth + Cryolinx.
  • Cinnamoth + Orzerk.
  • Mossanda + Helzephyr.
  • Nitewing + Grizzbolt.
  • Nitewing + Helzephyr.
  • Penking + Jetdragon.
  • Sweepa + Beakon.

It doesn’t matter which gender is which for the listed Pals. However, players just need to make sure that one is female and the other is male. Furthermore, they just need to follow the pairings above to be successful in breeding Jormuntide. It can be a bit of a process to be able to begin breeding the water-dragon Pal. But it is a surefire way of being able to create the creature. If you wish for a more direct approach, there is another way.

Players can find two Jormuntide, one near Cinnamoth Forest and the other in Verdant Brook. These Pals are Alphas, so they will be very high levels. More specifically, players need to be at least level 45 to contend with them. Furthermore, it can be time-consuming to use this method to get them. But if you wish to do so, be sure to wait until you are properly leveled. As you can see in the map above, the locations are quite a distance from each other. Ironically enough, the Jormuntide in the Cinnamoth Forest area is somewhat close to the first area you spawn in.

Now you know how to breed Jormuntide in Palworld. Plus, you also have the intel on finding them if you wish to do it this way. Breeding in the game is a big component. Not only that, but it is very straightforward to do once you get the hang of the process. With Jormuntide being a later-game Pal, it can be useful to have one for endgame scenarios or even the new islands added to the game. Furthermore, having one is vital if you want to traverse water. The reason is that it has a skill that allows it to be ridden. Therefore, you will not lose stamina on water and can move around at a faster pace. So make sure to go out and begin getting the breeding process ready to have your own Jormuntide.
