There are five kittens in Duskfade, which you must not only find but also capture and bring them back to Tailord, so simply spotting them is not enough, you need to chase and grab them. This guide will provide you with all kiten locations in the game, including tips on how to catch them.
All Five Kitten Locations
Kittens in Duskfade are really fast and will flee as soon as they see you, so approach them carefully and use mobility tools, such as skate on rails, flower launchers for boosts, and grapple to close the distance. Here’s where you can find all five kittens:

| Tick Town | Cross to the other side of the area using the rails, where you’ll need the board already acquired to ride them. After crossing, turn left for the kitten sittings nearby. The easiest method is to use the rails again for a big speed boost to close in and grab it quickly. |
| Starstone Mines | From the teleport platform, head forward using a short path by jumping onto rails. Reach a blocked path and clear it with your axe. Continue going forward and climb the large mushrooms. The kitten is just ahead inside the next area. Use the flower and grapple to your advantage and position yourself so you can pass over or drop onto the kitten. |
| Apprentice’s Wing | From the teleport platform, turn around and go straight. You’ll hear the meows, which means that the kitten is nearby. The grapple hook helps here significantly, so use it. |
| Canal Hamlet | From the teleport platform, head toward the town area, which is a bit farther down. There, you’ll encounter some monsters, so clear them out and climb the flower launcher that boosts you upward. The kitten is right on a rooftop. Use the flower boost again to your advantage for positioning and speed to grab it. |
| Clockmaster’s Rest | From the platform, turn right. The kitten is a short distance ahead. Use the board on nearby rails for speed. It may be on a pillar, so look carefully. Gain speed with the board, then throw yourself onto it while it’s on the pillar for a successful grab. |
How to Catch Kittens & Rewards
In addition to the already mentioned tips, here are a few more essentials that will help you catch the kittens:
- Don’t rush straight at them from far away if possible, but try to get close or above first, then sprint.
- They can zig-zag or climb, so reload the area if needed.
- Dropping onto them from above often works better than pure chasing.
Once you have all five kittens, you need to bring them back to Tailord, who owns a tailor shop in the main Tick Town area. After returning all five kittens, you’ll unlock some skins and the “Come Here Right Meow” achievement.
