Where and When to Find Yusuke Confidant in Persona 5?
Yusuke can be found from June 18th onward, after school, in the Shibuya Station Underground Walkway. Furthermore, he is there all week during the daytime, even when it is raining out. This makes the character extremely accessible to meet, just make sure that it is not nighttime when you go. As the character will not be there when you go.
Meeting the character is a scripted event on June 18. So when you get to the Underground Walkway area, you will engage in conversation with him. However, just to be cautious, keep an eye on the date. That way, you can remember to meet him at the appropriate time. It’s a busy day when you see Yusuke. So just keep this in mind, as a lot of details for the day will be thrown at you.
Yusuke Confidant All Ranks in Persona 5
Each of the confidants in Persona 5 has a leveling process they go through. With this, there are different results for each level. Below, you will see what you achieve for ranking up the character. This prepares you to know who is worth pursuing and impressing at the time. The following are the ranks.
Rank 1
Result: Novice Duplication unlocks. A skill for Yusuke that produces skill cards by using Blank Cards. In turn, these skills can be used to teach your Persona different moves. You will also receive the Recarm skill card as a bonus.
- On 6/18, there is an event where you meet Yusuke in the Shibuya Station Underground Walkway. This is unmissable on the day. Once this ends, go over and speak to him.
- Dialogue: “I have to hold up my end of the deal, so I’ll perform to the best of my ability. You only need to ask”
- Answer: “I’ll be asking a lot.”
Rank 2
Result: Baton Pass ability unlocks. The skill works after a 1 More, allowing players to pass Yusuke’s turn. However, it must be to others with Baton Pass unlocked.
- Dialogue: “I would like your honest opinion… if you would.”
- Answer: “It’s a novel.” or “It’s enigmatic.”
- Dialogue: “More importantly, it shall be the spark that revitalizes my slumbering art career!”
- Answer: “I can’t wait.” or “I hope you’re right.”
- Phone Dialogue (P5R): “I’m on a roll right now. I shall keep up this momentum and apply it to the Phantom Thieves as well!”
- Answer: “You’ve already done enough.”

Result: Unlocks Follow Up ability. Yusuke has the chance to attack an enemy after Joker has. Players also gain access to the Ueno Museum.
- Dialogue: “My work is… empty?”
- Answer: “Don’t let it bother you.”
- Dialogue: “What is going to happen to me now…? Without art, what will remain of my being…?”
- Answer: “This isn’t like you.”
- Dialogue: “But that is all the more reason I must break out of my slump. I must prove my ability to him.”

- Phone Dialogue (P5R): “I’m going to have ten pieces finished up by end of today!”

Result: Players unlock Artist Talk. With this, Yusuke has the opportunity to renegotiate a failed demon negotiation. Additionally, the Inokashira Park location is unlocked if it was not already open.
- Dialogue: “Thank you for your assistance today. After all, it would be impossible to sketch while rowing.”
- Answer: “Why are we in a boat?” or “I should bring a girl here.”
- Dialogue: “It seems my bias has caused me to overlook the truth of the matter…”
- Answer: “Love comes in all forms.”
- Phone Dialogue (P5R): “Even if I ever do understand it, will I truly be able to draw it…?”
- Answer: “Don’t get discouraged.”

Result: The Kanda Church location becomes available to travel to. Additionally, the ability called Adept Duplication is unlocked. This allows Yusuke to create medium-level skills using Blank Cards.
- Dialogue: “You will have to be my model today.”
- Answer: “Do you want me to strip?”
- Dialogue: “Do you think I will be able to capture the truth someday?”
- Answer: “I’m sure you will.” or “It doesn’t look like it.”
- Phone Dialogue (P5R): “The further I seem to be from understanding the abyss of the heart.”
- Answer: “There’s still hope.”

Prerequisite: Players must have their character be level 4 in the Proficiency stat to unlock this rank.
Result: The Harisen Recovery ability is unlocked for Yusuke. This allows him to heal different party members of their status ailments in combat.
- Dialogue: “This place has not changed in the slightest…”
- Answer: “It feels nostalgic.”
- Dialogue: “Why do you think Madarame decided to take me in?”
- Answer: “Maybe he was sympathetic.” or “I couldn’t possibly tell you.”

Result: Unlocks the Master Duplication ability. Having this allows Yusuke to create high-level skill cards from Blank Cards.
- Dialogue: “We’ll sell you as the ‘tragic, handsome artist’.”
- Answer: “What do you mean?”
- Dialogue: “Why is it that all artists talk about is money, money, money!? Has the true meaning of art been lost?!”

Result: Yusuke unlocks the Endure ability. By having this, he can survive a killing blow.
- Dialogue: “What subject do you think would most capture beauty?”
- Answer: “It has to be Ann.”
- Dialogue: “Is this what pure passion is supposed to look like!? My heart is clouded by other worldly desires…!”
- Answer: “You’ve really grown, Yusuke”
Rank 9
Result: Unlocks the Protect ability to use in combat. This allows Yusuke to protect Joker from a blow that would kill him in a fight.
- Dialogue: “When my mother was painting the ‘Sayuri’… what do you think she was thinking about?”
- Answer: “Her love for her son.” or “The pain of separation.”
- Dialogue: “But that is why I am going to wield my brush again… To give hope to all those who see my paintings.”
- Answer: “You’ve really changed, Yusuke.”

Result: Odin is unlocked with the ability to be fused. Plus, Second Awakening becomes available. This means Yusuke’s Persona transforms into Kamu Susano-o
