There are six scout bots in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which can be activated to reveal all the hidden missiles, shots, energy tanks, and power bombs in the region. This guide will provide you with the exact locations of all scout bots in every region of the game, including:

- Great Mines Scout Bot Location
Fury Green Scout Bot Location
You can’t miss the very first Scout Bot in the Fury Green region, as you need to follow the Ancient Path and enter the side room branching right off the main path. You should see directly in front of you upon entering from Cliffside Gate toward Arboreal Temple.
To activate a scout bot, you need to scan it first with your Scan Visor. This will show that it needs power, so charge it by firing a Thunder Shot at it. You can unlock Thunder Shot on your third Volt Forge visit. Once the scout bot is charged, scan it again to activate the hidden items on the map. Do this every time you find a scout bot in each of the six regions.
Volt Forge Scout Bot Location
When you enter the second region, ride your Vi-O-La to Tower 2 and take the elevator down to the bottom to the Tower 2 Generator platform, facing storm clouds. The bot is located on the left side when facing toward the storm. You should see it on the jutting side platform edge. Alternatively, you could Morph Ball through pipes and either Psychic Grapple or Boost Rail from Tower 1 and head left from there.
Sol Valley Scout Bot Location
Move straight to the southwest corner of the desert to a spot just north of the Volt Forge entrance. Exit the Volt Forge and immediately turn left. Then, spot the raised, isolated platform detached from the cliff and activate it to cross the path using either Psychic Boots or Psychic Gloves. The scout bot is located toward the back of the island.
Ice Belt Scout Bot Location
In the Ice Belt, right after you leave the Snowfield Accessway, enter the first large open Snowfield where you fight the wolf pack. Hug the right wall as you descend the slope toward the ice lake. There, you should see the scout bot on the right side, partially buried next to the overturned cart. Note that it can be hard to spot, so scan the debris all around. Also, be sure to mark a nearby frozen Shot Expansion.
Flare Pool Scout Bot Location
Once you upgrade your Vi-O-La IC Suit to be lava-proof in the Flare Pool region, return to the Lava Lake Bridge and ride your Vi-O-La across the lava lake to the opposite side. Then, disembark on the right side, hop over the bollards, and find the fifth scout bot right behind the maintenance grates. You should see it on the right side, toward the back wall, near the starting area, right after the crossing. Also, be sure to solve the nearby Morph Ball tether puzzle later on.
Great Mines Scout Bot Location
Finally, in the very last region of the Great Mines, you need to descend to the Main Shaft Level 3 using the ground floor elevator. Then, exit the elevator room to your right and immediately turn left to enter an adjacent room of Transit Tunnel E. The last scout bot is sitting right outside the elevator, in the left corner, near the large open Omega Griever cocoon and big spiky green thing. Note that this may happen right before you face the final boss.
