Astrid is LORT’s melee-focused warrior, designed as the frontline tank and DPS. She charges straight into battle, using her kit that shines in close-quarters for horde-clearing and bossing once scaled. But she’s vulnerable to projectiles due to her aggressive playstyle, as dodging slow-moving attacks is harder up close, when the hitboxes fill your FOV.
That’s why you should always prioritize Strength with Astrid over Agility or Intelligence. Stack Strength to 1.5-2x over all other attributes. Use this build for camp-rushes to get 5-10 Strength, and grab 1-2 swords or maces and speed buffs for map clear. Then, shop for damage and health multipliers to push the build towards a hybrid with Agility if you’re dying a lot from ranged attacks. At night, it’s recommended to kite edges and use power attacks.

Cliff is an elven security guard archer and the ultimate kiter with high mobility, ranged DPS, and dodging in both solo and teams. This build is primarily based on Agility stat, shining in a projectile-heavy meta where melee struggles. Unlike Astrid’s CQC risks, Cliff thrives at distance, logging and chucking enemies while evading.
Once you start boosting his Agility, you’ll see his speed, dodge, ranged damage, and attack speed work like a Swiss watch. Rush camps first for 5-10 Agility points and grab a bow or crossbow with speed buffs for map control and quests. Kite lobbers and snipers by edge-hovering over them and spamming arrows whenever you can.
Bernie Intelligence AoE Caster Build

Bernie is a backline AoE nuker, excelling at horde-clearing and bossing, which is perfect for co-op or safe solo kiting. His spells become especially powerful in the late game, when he starts exploding everything on his way. Note that his Burn AoE deals really well with poison veins in the forest.
Here, you need to invest as much into Intelligence as possible and rush those blue orbs first for explosive scaling. When it comes to power-ups, be sure to get magic damage, radius, and chain lightning to amp his Boomology. In the late game, you need to shop for AoE stacks and kite from edges to nuke bosses.
