ARC Raiders players have new quests to do with the Shrouded Sky update, like “A Dead End.” When it comes to completing these, they can be tricky. It’s mainly due to the cryptic steps that players need to follow. And the latest one, “A Dead End,” is no different in this regard. It’s important to note that for some of these, it is first-come, first-served. Therefore, you may need to hurry for this one as well. But, for your journey this time, we are heading to the stunning Blue Gate map. Additionally, you don’t need any special map conditions to clear this one. The steps for it can be found below.
How to Complete A Dead End in ARC Raiders
There are five steps to complete in the A Dead End quest for ARC Raiders. Players need to head to Blue Gate, more specifically, the Reinforced Reception area. It’s best to head here from the surface and rappel down either elevator shaft. Then you can get started with the following quest steps:
Find MANTIKOR’s underground facilities
This step is automatically completed when you rappel down the elevator shaft in Reinforced Reception.
Find a way into the locked room in the Security Wing
Players need to collect three batteries from the panel where it says “Interact. These panels can be located in various areas, and it’s random each time. Usually under the staircase in the northwest of the Security Wing or on the second floor after going up the stairs. When you have a battery to carry, look for the blue line on the floor. It will lead you to a large rectangular door with a red light on the right side. Place the battery in this panel; it must be done three times in total. If you are curious about the panel to take the batteries from, it looks like the one in the image below.
Search the locked room for any records on Project Heartwood
Once you enter the locked room, immediately head down to the big screens. But instead, go to the computer on the right of it and interact where it says “Play Recording.” As soon as you get close to the computer, you will see the prompt appear.
Find the Dusty Film Reel
Now, head to the left side of the room and the big screens. You will see a reel reader that has a film reel at the top of it. Walk up to it and interact with it to find the Dusty Film Reel. Add it to your inventory after this step. It’s important to put it in your Safe Pocket to not risk losing it and having to restart the quest over.
Deliver the Dusty Film Reel to Shani
Once you have the Dusty Film Reel, head to any Airshaft or Raider Hatch. It’s best to go to the Cliffside Airshaft as it’s right beside the Reinforce Reception area. Go back up the elevators you rappelled down before and go to extract. Once you are back at Speranza, go to the Traders tab and switch the tab to Quests. Next, navigate to Shani and hit the claim button to turn in the Dusty Film Reel and complete A Dead End.
That’s all you need to do to complete the A Dead End quest for ARC Raiders. It’s a relatively faster quest to finish up. But players need to do everything for it in one round. Therefore, it’s best to take a Free Loadout to be safe. If you are knocked out with the item, it’s back to the beginning. The quests can be tough to get done with how the steps are. Another example is figuring out where the Husk Graveyard is in the game, but we have you covered there too.
