Pragmata: Diana’s Hide-and-Seek Minigame Guide

Pragmata

Diana’s Hide-and-Seek is an optional minigame in Pragmata that builds your bond with Diana at the Shelter and unlocks the “Peekaboo” achievement. This guide will provide you with tips and tricks on how to successfully complete the Diana’s Hide-and-Seek minigame.

How to Unlock Hide-and-Seek Minigame

Diana in the Shelter

Diana’s Hide-and-Seek minigame isn’t available by default, and you need to actually trigger it by frequently returning to the Shelter between the main sectors and missions. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Talk to Diana every time new dialogue options appear in the Shelter, as consistent conversations are key here.
  2. During these conversations, give her the Read Earth Memories that you find in the world to improve your interactions with her.
  3. The minigame typically unlocks around the end of Sector 3 or by the time you reach Sector 4.

In any case, just keep talking and giving her REMs until it triggers. Once it’s unlocked, you should see a new “Play” button below the usual “Talk” option when you interact with Diana in the Shelter next time.

How to Play Hide-and-Seek and Find Diana

Press and hold the “Play” button, and Diana will excitedly agree and run off to hide. Note that only Diana can hide, and you need to find her as Hugh with a 60-second timer starting at the top of the screen. Here’s how to find her before the time runs out:

  • Diana’s hiding spots in the Shelter are limited but randomized each time, so it keeps the game fun.
  • She often hides behind or near gifted REM objects, such as slides, placed memories, and toys that she likes to play with.
  • Be sure to run around for a quick loop around the Shelter and check walls, objects, and corners first.
  • If it takes you too long to find her, Diana will call out or make sounds to help pinpoint her, like giggling.
  • Once you spot her hiding place, approach her directly and press the button prompt.

If you find her within the 60-second timeframe, you win the round. Diana will react positively with fun dialogue like: “You found me! You won’t find me next time.” This interaction will strengthen Hugh’s bond to her, which ultimately improves Diana’s hacking abilities. If you don’t find her or quit right out in the middle of the round, she’ll be upset and very disappointed with you. That’s why it’s important to find her every time, as it’ll improve your gameplay and progression.
