The Jak and Daxter Trilogy will be given a portable release on the Playstation Vita, Sony have announced.
Comprising the first three games in the loveable Naughty Dog-developed platform series – originally released on the PS2 between 2001-2004 – the collection was given a HD makeover last year and unleashed on the Playstation 3.
Although the Vita version won’t feature the 3D capabilities its PS3 sibling boasts, Sony have promised that some of the mini-games across the trilogy have been adapted to make use of the Vita’s touch controls.
The collection – which includes Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II: Renegade and Jak 3 – will be released in North America and Europe in June, priced at $29.99/€29.99. Check out the official trailer below.
