Nintendo Direct: Majora's Mask 3D Has a Release Date

Nintendo’s long-awaited remake of N64 classic Majora’s Mask has finally been given a release date.

During today’s first Nintendo Direct of 2015, fans were told the game would be arriving on February 13. The game was originally announced back in November in another Direct and was given the release window of “Spring 2015.”

Much like its 3DS predecessor, Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora’s Mask 3D will have improved textures and visuals, alongside several tweaks to the original gameplay, that will help players save the doomed world of Termina. The save function of the game has been radically improved, as well as the Bomber’s Notebook, which guides players to side quests and helps manage NPC’s schedules.

The game will be playable on both the original and new 3DS systems and will cost $40. Players also might consider a special edition of the game that Nintendo has unveiled in the past few weeks. A limited edition bundle of the New 3DS, pre-installed with the game (in Europe only), was also announced later in the conference.
