Trivial Gamers is a hilarious new game show (we use the phrase ‘game show’ very loosely around here) in which our host, Harry Bowers, gathers a group of fellow Power Up Gamers to tell funny stories about video games. The rules are very simple:
1. Each episode, one person will tell a funny story about video games. It can be personal, nostalgic, current news, or basically anything, as long as it’s funny. The catch is that the story doesn’t even have to be true, and that’s the point.
2. After the story is told, the remaining cast members have to decide whether the story is a genuine article or if it is like the keys under the truck in Pokémon Red and Blue – a total lie.
3. Whichever cast members guess correctly get a point, and the ones that get it wrong must hang their heads in shame.
In the first ever episode of Trivial Gamers, Harry Bowers recounts a tale full of cross-dressing, shame, deceit, and repressed childhood memories while JD, Austin, Amber, and Adam attempt to discern the truth behind this shocking revelation.
