How to Get Spin in A Bizarre Run: Gyro Quest Guide

A Bizarre Run

Spin, also known as Steel Balls, is a special ability in A Bizarre Run, which occupies a stand slot, so you must be Standless and complete Gyro’s quest to fully unlock and use it. This guide will provide you with tips and tricks on how to complete Gyro Zeppeli’s quest chain in this Roblox game.

Speak to Gyro Zeppeli in the Lobby

Gyro Zeppeli

To unlock Spin, you must finish at least two races to complete Stage 2 twice. Gyro appears behind your lobby spawn, where you can talk to him to start this quest. Here’s how to start at Stage 1:

  • Maintain another rider’s slipstream for 15 seconds in Stage 1.
  • Stay directly behind another player’s horse to catch the wind stream.
  • Do not try to overtake, just ride in their wake.

If you manage to finish Stage 1 in the top 10, you’ll be able to find Gyro’s Steel Ball in Stage 1, which has a random spawn that will be marked as “Gyro’s Steel Ball” when you get near it. Note that this spawn is server-shared, so if another player takes it first, it disappears. That’s why it’s recommended to choose less crowded routes. Also, once you pick it up, you must be Standless, then return it to Gyro in the lobby afterward.

How to Unlock & Equip Spin (Steel Balls)

Spin (Steel Balls)

As soon as you return the Steel Ball to Gyro, talk to him in the lobby and equip the Steel Ball, which will replace your firearm. Now you need to eliminate 10 players in Stage 2. Here’s how:

  1. Stage 2 allows full PvP, so you can kill 10 other players, which also counts across multiple races and games.
  2. Stay Standless with the Steel Ball equipped and target players at crossings, checkpoints, and other choke points.
  3. After the second checkpoint in Stage 2, find the bomb-throwing NPC and defeat him, too.
  4. Pick up the Defused Pinbomb drop near the waterfall area or on land shortly after the river area.
  5. Return it to Gyro and talk to him one final time in the lobby to complete the chain and receive Spin.

Note that using a Rokakaka on Spin after obtaining it can reset the quest and remove the moveset, so avoid this. But you can use Rokakaka if you want a different stand, such as D4C, Tusk, Scary Monsters, or Star Platinum, and you have a Stand Arrow ready. Do not use it if you want to keep Spin available, because it removes the equipped ability from that slot.
