Ubisoft has today unveiled a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, which focuses on the historical duo of Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens.
Users who pre-order the game will receive a number of exclusive story missions involving two of the greatest minds of Victorian Britain, novelist Dickens and pioneering scientist Darwin. Titled ‘The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy’, the DLC will be available at launch.
A product description for the game on Amazon gives a few further details about the nature of the storylines players can expect to become involved in as part of the Conspiracy content pack:
Embark on two pulse-quickening missions that will take you into the inner sanctums of London’s most influential men. Defend Charles Darwin’s discoveries from those who would kill to silence him. And help a friend of legendary writer Charles Dickens keep a secret that could get him killed.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate sees Ubisoft’s historical action-adventure series relocate to London for the very first time. Set in 1868, at the height of the Industrial Revolution, players take on the role of twin gangster assassins Jacob and Evie Frye as they fight for justice on behalf of the oppressed working class.
Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the game is set to launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 23.
