Today, Ubisoft released its first VR game, Eagle Flight, for the Oculus Rift. The title will also be coming to PlayStation VR on November 8, and HTC Vive on December 20.
Eagle Flight is set 50 years after humans have vanished from the face of the Earth. As such, nature and wildlife have taken over the globe, with the point of interest in Eagle Flight being Paris. Players will play as an eagle, seeing and experiencing the planet from the point-of-view of the bird, in the skies of course. There are single player challenges to hone flight skills, along with a dogfighting and racing multiplayer modes.
Developed by FunHouse, Eagle Flight was specifically designed for VR, giving players the opportunity to experience the true sensation of flight. Check out the trailer below.
