It may be time for those hoping for a plethora of new game announcements and reveals at tomorrow’s PlayStation Experience 2016 to temper their expectations: Sony’s PlayStation Showcase keynote is only scheduled to run for an hour.
Down from over two hours in 2014, and one-hour-45-minutes last year, Sony’s kick-off media event has only been allocated a slot of an hour in the official PSX 2016 programme, which can be viewed now via the PlayStation Experience 2016 app, available for iOS and Android devices.
Of course, that’s still plenty of time for a significant number of presentations in an hour – it just looks unlikely to be the bonanza some users have been hoping for.
The PlayStation Showcase is scheduled to take place at 10am tomorrow (Saturday, December 3) on the main stage at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
Power Up Gaming is in attendance at the event and will be bringing you news from the show floor throughout the weekend. In the meantime, you can check out our PlayStation Experience 2016 predictions.
