The July 31 update for the live-service shooter title shipped a series of content updates, including two new characters, Ultimate Valby and Luna. Luna’s kit of skills and abilities revolve around using music and rhythm to disarm her enemies, and the character currently has two skill modules available to customize her existing abilities.
Luna’s official bio reads: “A supporter who grants buffs to allies using her own music. Bestows a variety of music and buffs to allies within a radius around her.”

Passionate Stage | This ability plays upbeat music, boosting Skill Power Modifier for Luna and allies. Enhanced Effect increases Critical Hit Rate and damage. |
Relaxing Act | The Relaxing Act ability plays relaxing music which recovers MP for Luna and allies. Enhanced Effect improves MP Recovery and reduces Skill Cost. |
Delightful Stage | Delightful music increases Inspiration Gauge and decreases ally skill cooldowns. Enhanced Effect resets cooldowns immediately. |
Luna Skill Modules in the First Descendant
The newest character in the First Descendant, Luna has two skill modules. These modules allow players to customize her kit of abilities.
Nimble Footsteps
This ability enhances Luna’s mobility, expanding her performance range.
Noise Surge
Noise Surge is the second module that transforms Luna into a combat dealer. This abilities also allows her to dash towards enemies using Area of Effect (AoE) Damage.
Luna can be unlocked from the Research Institute using in-game gold and items. Descendants can also be unlocked by directly purchasing them using Caliber from the Shop. Caliber is an in-game currency that can bought by spending real money. Luna is available in the Shop, and fans can purchase the character directly as a monetary transaction without having the necessary items and research time.
