Delta Force Hawk Ops is the remake of Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, and features a series of new operators, 6v6 multiplayer maps, alongside a slew of other cosmetics, unlockables and other in-game items. Delta Force features both multiplayer and singleplayer gameplay which occurs across two different timelines, one is in the timeline of the original Delta Force iin 1993, and the other is set in 2035, where players play as G.T.I, described as a peace-keeping force. Does Delta Force: Hawk Ops Support Controllers?
Delta Force: Hawk Ops doesn’t have official controller support for PC via Microsoft Window on Steam, at the time of writing. However, since the game has cross-platform support and is available to play on Xbox and the PS5, we recommend playing the game on the console if you require to play with a controller. However, there is a workaround using the official Steam controller settings method, which will allow you to use a controller by mapping the buttons. We have detailed the full controller setup for you below.
- Open Delta Force Hawk Ops on your Steam PC Client.
- From the Manage Setting button, click on ‘Properties’
- rom ‘Properties’ dropdown that opens up, select ‘Controller’
- Enable Steam Input Transition to be able to use a custom gamepad layout.
- Click on Current Button Layout. From that tab that opens up, select ‘Community layouts’
- From the lists of layouts available from the ‘Community Layouts’ tab, select a preferred layout for the game’s. You can also edit and manually map your own buttons once you have downloaded a layout.
UPDATE: As of October, we are unsure whether this method works, and at the time of writing, Delta Force Hawk Ops doesn’t have official jhulelal controller support for its PC variant. We recommend waiting for TiMi Studio group to roll out custom controller support for the tactical shooter game.
While we don’t delve deep into the system requirements necessary to run the game, you require a GTX 1060 or an AMD RX5500 XT to run the game on medium-level settings on 60FPS. However, Delta Force: Hawk Ops takes a minimum of 50GB of available storage space on your HDD for fans to be able to play the game. Delta Force: Hawk Ops intends to rival another popular title, Call of Duty Black Ops 6, which is also scheduled to release in October. While the full release for Delta Force is due to launch early access, fans can play the game’s Open Beta on Steam which launches for everyone in the first week of December. The game won’t have any pay-to-win mechanics but fans can purchase skins and unlockables, and also other cosmetics, which would be available via micro-transactions.
Delta Force: Hawk Ops launches on PC via Steam, and on Xbox Series X/S and the PlayStation 5. Open-beta, also known as Early Access, would be available on Steam starting from December 5, 2024.
