Are you not getting the burst mode animations in Goddess of Victory: Nikke? There is a quick fix for that. In this guide, I cover how you can enable and disable burst mode animations.
How To Enable or Disable Burst Mode Animations in Goddess of Victory: Nikke
By default, the burst mode animation is set to once per day. That is why you see it the first time and then it does not appear. Luckily, an option in the settings allows you to change that. You can find settings in the top right portion of your screen. In the battle tab, you will find the skill cutscene settings. The options for skill cutscene settings are on, once, simple, and off.
You can use this setting to turn the burst animations on if you would like to see them. On the other hand, if you want to turn them off entirely and never want to see them then you can do that as well.
Turning these cutscenes off is recommended since they can interfere with the actual gameplay and remove your focus from what you are aiming at. It does come down to personal preference, if you like seeing the animations then you might want to set them to once a day rather than turning them off completely.
Other Settings Recommendations
Other settings that I recommend turning off include screen shaking, attention when target appears, blur when aiming, and cursor sync. Aim assist can be turned off or on depending on personal preference and the situation that you are in.
I can also recommend setting the FPS to 60. If your game is running at 30 FPS then increasing that to 60 is going to give you a much better experience. The only benefit of reducing the FPS to 30 is that some projectiles can be slowed down making them easier to hit (Train, Modernia, Chatterbox).
