Date Everything might be a very strange and lovable dating sim at heart, but that doesn’t stop it from being absolutely packed with collectables to find as you improve your relationships with the various furniture and accessories of the house.
Unlike other games, Date Everything doesn’t hide these collectables around the interactive space of the house itself. Instead, you’ll be forced into pseudo-social situations with the furniture, taking them through various dialogue branches to collect them all.
How do collectables work in Date Everything
In total, there are 404 collectables to be gathered through talking to the 100 dateable objects within the house. Each character has at least three collectable “stickers” to be discovered through their branching dialogue, although some characters have many more. Sassy Chap has a total of 33 different collectables to discover through talking to him, and therefore poses the biggest challenge for completionists out there.
According to Skylar (the personification of the Dateviators themselves), it is impossible to collect all 404 collectables in a single playthrough. This makes sense because you can only achieve one type of relationship with any individual character unless you use one of the five candies that can be obtained through talking to Keith and increasing your S.P.E.C.S stats.
With that in mind, you’ll need at least three full playthroughs of Date Everything before you can say that you’ve collected all 404 collectables. Once you’ve completed a single playthrough, you can then start a New Game+ playthrough to keep the collectables that you earned on your previous playthrough, allowing you to complete your collection.
You will, however, need to remember what you did during a previous playthrough to get the collectables that you’ve already got, because you’ll need to avoid doing it again and getting a repeat collectable.
How to check your collectables in Date Everything
At any point, you can open up your phone and select “Date-A-Dex” to bring up your list of unlocked (“Awakened”) dateables. After clicking on any of them, you can click the numbers in the top right corner of the screen to bring up your collectables with them. Any that you don’t currently have will be blanked out, while any that you’ve already got will be shown.
There is an achievement for getting all 404 collectables, but you’re going to be in this for the long haul if you’re aiming to get it. Good luck!
