Gamers gearing up for Awesome Games Done Quick 2015

Hardcore gamers are busy making their preparations for the fifth annual charity speed running marathon, Awesome Games Done Quick 2015, which takes place on Sunday.

AGDQ 2015, which raises money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, will feature over 100 games and sees well-known speed runners playing continuously throughout the 7-day event in order to collect donations for the charity.

During the marathon, donations enter viewers into various prize draws, and are used to determine the outcome of various bidding wars (for example, to determine the next game to be played). The full event will be streamed online at http://www.twitch.tv/gamesdonequick, and the full schedule is available on the event’s official website.

AGDQ 2015 will take place at the Hilton Washington Dulles in Herndon, Virginia between this Sunday, January 4 at 12pm EST and the night of January 10.
Awesome Games Done Quick 2014 raised over $1 million, and was the single most successful gaming charity marathon of all time.
