Microsoft have today unveiled three pre-order editions of Halo 5: Guardians, as well as confirming that the multiplayer beta for the game is underway.
These versions include: the standard edition, priced at $59.99, which comes with a pre-order exclusive poster; the limited edition, priced at $99.99, which comes complete in a steel book and includes extra DLC; and the heftily-priced limited collector’s edition, which sets players back $249.99 and includes everything in the limited edition, as well as a commemorative statue designed by 343 Industries.
Halo 5: Guardians introduces a new protagonist to the franchise in Spartan Locke, who is tasked with tracking down the Master Chief and solving a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy.
Fans who purchased The Master Chief Collection have been granted access to Halo 5’s multiplayer beta, which runs from today until January 18, and focuses on 4 vs. 4 arena combat.
Halo 5: Guardians, which is set to launch in autumn 2015, is available to pre-order now.
