Start Your Engines With New Project CARS Trailer

Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco have this week unveiled the most recent trailer for their upcoming racer, Project CARS.

The new footage shows off the highly intricate racing sim’s impressive visuals. We see many different cars racing along a few of the final game’s 60 tracks, all in varying types of weather. From Audi to Mercedes, players can purportedly experience “a huge variety of motorsports and reflected car culture with relevant rules and formats”.

Bandai Namco says the game can be played using 40 different racing peripherals, and will be playable at a 12k resolution if you have a powerhouse gaming PC. Those on PS4 and Xbox One can (hopefully) enjoy visuals of 1080p at 60 frames per second. Wii U visuals have yet to be discussed.

The game is set to launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 17 in the US. Europe can expect the game on those systems three days later on March 20. No announcement regarding the Wii U launch date has been given at this point.
