Current-gen sports title Rugby League Live 3 looks set to release this June, according to a pre-order listing for the game.
New Zealand retailer The Warehouse has dated the Big Ant Studios-developed rugby league sim as launching on June 30, which squares with publisher Tru Blu Entertainment recently telling fans on Facebook to expect the game between “April and June”.
The title is the follow-up to Rugby League Live 2, which launched in October 2012 on last-gen consoles to a mixed critical reception. With Rugby League Live 3 marking the series’ debut on PS4 and Xbox One, its publisher has promised a wide range of improvements.
Rugby fans will certainly hope it fares better than recent union effort Rugby 15, which was panned by critics and users alike for its numerous bugs and ‘frustrating’ gameplay.
Rugby League Live 3 will be available on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Steam.
