As the FIFA 16 hype machine continues to generate buzz for EA Sports’ incoming football sim, the game’s publisher has today unveiled the title’s full 42-track soundtrack.
Featuring artists from 15 countries, including the likes of Sam Smith, Bastille and Of Monsters and Men, the music that will provide a backdrop to FIFA 16 is as diverse as ever, with EA ensuring there’s something to suit (mostly) everyone’s tastes.
In a press release, EA executive Steve Schnur said:
“FIFA has traditionally been gaming’s foremost international showcase for new artists of every genre, and with FIFA 16, we’ve once again created a soundtrack that will enable millions of fans worldwide to discover new music they might have never heard otherwise. Artists like Kygo and Aurora from Norway, X-Wife from Portugal, Bomba Estereo from Colombia, The Very Best from Malawi and the UK, Baiana System from Brazil and Raury from America do more than just enhance a great game. FIFA 16 represents globalised music at its very best.”
