Tekken 7 will make the leap from arcade to PS4 console in 2015, Bandai Namco has today announced.
The game’s producer Katsuhiro Harada took to the stage at Paris Games Week moments ago to confirm that the popular fighting franchise will makes its way to the PS4 next year, on the series’ 20th anniversary on PlayStation. This was accompanied by a trailer focusing on the history of the series:
Harada confirmed that the PS4 version of the game will also receive a flurry of exclusive content, including virtual reality support for the PlayStation VR headset. Tekken 7 is currently confined exclusive to arcades in Japan, although it is still in a beta, unfinished state. It is the first game in the franchise’s history to run on Unreal Engine.
