Pokemon Picross To Release In December

Nintendo announced Pokemon Picross during the recent Nintendo Direct for the 3DS. The game’s Twitter page has revealed Picross’ arrival date for North America and Europe: Thursday, December 3, 2015. What’s more, Pokemon Picross will be free to download, in a similar fashion to Pokemon Shuffle and Pokemon Rumble World.

In Pokemon Picross, players solve number puzzles with the help of Pokemon they’ve acquired in order to complete a portrait of the stage’s featured Pokemon. Doing so will add it to their collection. The download size is currently unknown, but judging from the other free-to-start Pokemon games, it ought to be fairly light.
