It’s the vehicle that Rocket League deserves, not the one it needs.
Today on the official Rocket League YouTube page, a video was posted showing off a brand new Battle-Car based on the Batmobile from the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film. The trailer, suitably dark and foreboding to suit the Caped Crusader’s mysterious persona, shows a Gotham-esque skyline, the Batmobile in action, and a giant, flaming Batman logo in the net when the new vehicle scores a goal.
In addition to the Batmobile, this new DLC pack will also contain three antenna flags, featuring the respective logos of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. The DLC is set to release on March 8, and will cost $2 USD, according to developer Psyonix’s official Twitter page.
Rocket League will also be receiving a physical release some time in the near future. Up until this point, super successful racing/soccer mashup has only been available digitally on PS4, PC, and, most recently, Xbox One. No release date has been set for physical copies of Rocket League, but it is expected to retail at $19.99 USD.
