Today on Twitter, the official account for the Witcher revealed the box art for The Witcher 3’s next DLC: Blood and Wine. The image presents the game’s protagonist, Geralt of Rivia, atop a throne sipping some wine; or blood. Behind him sits a winged monster.
As well as this, an image posted on NeoGAF shows that a game store in Jakarta has opened preorders for a physical edition of the DLC. It will come with a download code, plus two physical decks of The Witcher 3’s in-game card game, Gwent.
Blood and Wine was recently listed as coming out on June 7, on the Polish gaming site GRYOnline, but this has since been refuted as a placeholder date by CD Projekt Red.
Last year we gave The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt a 9.5/10, labelling it as ‘the biggest fantasy RPG since Skyrim.’ The review for the game’s first DLC, Hearts of Stone, can be read here.
