Back in February, the mythical Pokémon Mew was distributed via a download code obtained in participating stores. It came at level 100 with a random nature and knew the move Pound. Those who were unable to acquire Mew in February now have another opportunity to do so. Fans who sign up for the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter before June 1, 2016 will be emailed a download code.
It is important to note that if you already downloaded Mew via a code from the stores, you will be unable to get this Mew. Those who subscribe should also receive codes for the Generation 1 legendary birds with their hidden abilities. This offer is only available through May, and is available for any of the 3DS Pokémon titles.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pokémon Red and Blue, Nintendo Network are giving away one mythical Pokémon a month. From June 1, Pokéfans can expect to receive Manaphy, the Generation 4 water-type legendary.
