With a new God of War game demonstrated at E3 recently, and the series itself being taken in a brand new direction, the time seemed ripe to bring our own direction to the series: comedy. No, really. Kratos would make a wonderful comedian. Think about it, the series was first introduced on the PS2 in 2005 when Kratos is tricked by Ares into murdering his family. Kratos then taught Ares the definition of Karma. In GoW2 in 2007, Gaia shows Kratos how to prevent his own death at the hands of Zeus, followed by the Spartan teaming up with the Titans to attack Olympus. Finally, GoW3 in 2010 saw Kratos going utterly berserk and slaughtering the gods. See? Hilarity all around. No? Not convinced? Fine, maybe these glitches will do the trick.
Let’s see, rolling through shields, dogs doing the Get Down, unloading enemies. Sliding soldiers around into water, making their legs vanish, execution by astonishment. Malfunctioning portals. Finally, smash a soldier’s head in at Poseidon’s pool and Kratos gets bashed around by the game. Now what did we say about teaching karma? And this is just part one. There are more than ten of these glitch videos by findlestick to enjoy. Kratos, you will henceforth be known as the Gag of War.
