September 1’s Direct, as promised, zeroed in on 3DS titles intermixed with the adventures of one hapless Treehouse employee. Existing games such as Mii Plaza, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Hyrule Warriors Legends are receiving updates and additional content. Nintendo also announced a few new games not revealed at E3. In addition to 2016 games, the latter chunk of the Direct presents a lineup for 2017. These games include Yoshi’s Wooly World 3DS, Pikmin (a 2.5D platformer this time), Mario Sports Super Stars, and Ever Oasis, which was shown at E3.
