United Front Games, the developer of titles such as Sleeping Dogs and SMASH+GRAB, is to shut down, according to a number of sources.
Former colleagues have been confirming the apparent closure on social media over the past hour, while the studio’s recent Steam Early Access title Smash+Grab has been removed from sale on Valve’s online storefront.
United Front Games was founded in 2007, and is based in Vancouver, Canada. Amongst its most well-known title, the Square Enix-published Sleeping Dogs, the developer was also responsible for creating ModNation Racers and LittleBigPlanet Racing on the PS3. It also had a hand in developing Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One.
