WWE 2K17 has finally received its first post-launch patch on last-gen consoles.
Those expecting the 1.01 title update to emulate the extensive patch released for the professional wrestling sim’s current-gen versions last week are sure to be disappointed, however.
On Xbox 360, the patch clocks in at a paltry 13MB, and it is expected to be a similar size on PS3. Compare this to the 11GB update PS4 and Xbox One users received in version 1.03 of WWE 2K17, and it’s clear to see where publisher 2K’s priorities lie.
While no patch notes have yet been made available by 2K, users have reported that no in-game bugs or issues appear to have been resolved; it is instead expected that the update is merely paving the way for compatibility with the game’s impending Legends Pack DLC.
