PlayStation VR users are getting to play Robinson: The Journey almost a week ahead of its official release, after US retailer Best Buy reportedly broke the game’s street date.

According to a significant number of users on social media, as well as several members of the Power Up Gaming team, Best Buy began shipping the title yesterday to some who had pre-ordered the game, with many receiving their copy today.

Robinson: The Journey is an explorative adventure game, which sees players assume the role of a young boy after he crash-lands on a mysterious planet, which is apparently inhabited by a whole manner of prehistoric beasts.

According to its developer Crytek, the title has a play time of around three to five hours, and will include PS4 Pro enhancements. While The Journey doesn’t currently include PlayStation Move support, the studio says it is looking into adding it in via a future update.

The title is scheduled to officially release exclusively for PS4 and PlayStation VR on November 8 in North America and November 9 in Europe.

Although developer Crytek has insisted the game will be priced at $59.99, Amazon and a number of other retailers still have it available to purchase at $39.96.
