Eagle Flight, Ubisoft’s first foray into virtual reality, is set to receive PS4 Pro-exclusive enhancements, it has been today confirmed.
As we reported last week, Eagle Flight joined the plethora of titles confirmed as receiving PS4 Pro support at launch. Now, publisher Ubisoft has outlined the specific improvements the upgraded console will bring to the game. According to an official tweet, Eagle Flight on the PS4 Pro will feature improved draw distance and reduced ‘pop-in’.
@Jan_M91 Sure, you get improved draw distance (how far you can see) and enhanced ‘level of detail’ (reduces objects popping in)!

In related news, the studio also confirmed that it is planning on providing post-launch support for the title via patches, which look like they will take into account player feedback and requests.
@THEJakeTarver @Ubisoft We’ve heard this feedback a quite a bit and are looking at what we can accomplish in future patches! Thanks!!

In Eagle Flight, players play from the point-of-view of the titular bird of prey, seeing and experiencing the planet from the skies. There are single player challenges to hone flight skills, along with dogfighting and racing multiplayer modes.
The game is currently available for the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR; an HTC Vive version is set to follow on December 20.
