Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is today officially getting microtransactions via the digital currency COD Points – confirming yesterday’s premature PS Store listing.
Much like last year’s Black Ops III, the latest entry in Activision’s first-person shooter franchise will use COD Points as its in-game currency, allowing players to purchase rare supply drops (at a rate of 200 CP per drop). According to the PlayStation Store listings for the points, they can also be redeemed in BO3 – though players must first launch Infinite Warfare for them to show up in that game.
The COD Points are priced as follows:
- 200 CP for $1.99 USD
- 1100 CP for $9.99 USD
- 2400 CP for $19.99 USD
- 5000 CP for $39.99 USD
- 9500 CP for $74.99 USD
- 13000 CP for $99.99 USD
