Sony’s PS4 emerged the clear winner in the battle for Black Friday week supremacy in the UK, outselling the Xbox One by a ratio of over 1.5:1.
According to recently released statistics from market research firm GfK Chart-Track, the PS4 sold 142,500 units for the week ending November 26, up 2.5 percent year-on-year, while the Xbox One shifted 92,500 consoles, a fall of 31 percent.
As you would expect, both current-gen consoles were priced competitively during Black Friday week, with some aggressive discounts being offered on both the PS4 Slim and Xbox One S by a number of retailers.
Nintendo’s 3DS also had a strong showing, selling 35,000 units in the week following the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon.
